Half-Time!!!

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, children of all ages... this is Fernando aka Emit Remmus with some new things to share with lots of free time! It is still summer and I still got a long way to go before I start at UC Irvine. Orientation is on the 15th; I can't wait!!! Some of my friends have already gone to theirs, some have already gone off to better things. While there are others that will go off in a few weeks. Seems like we are all reaching that fork in the road. I sure hope I get to see them again.

One thing I won't ever see again is the green of one of my pinetrees out in front of my house. For some apparent reason, the damn tree caught on fire. Now, I'm talking about a +30 ft. tree lit up in flames near my friend Alex's house. Luckily the fire deparment came and took care of it, as well as the absence of any wind. Otherwise, Alex's would have caught flames, thus catching the entire triplex (which includes my house) in a horrible blaze. By the way, this all happenen around 1 am last Wednesday. Good thing I was tossin' and turnin' for a good while, as I was able to hear Blanca's barking and Catalina's (Alex's mom) yells...

That's not all, as several relatives of mine are having troubles of their own. I won't go into specifics, only that a car spun out of control and there was close call with some assholes.

But not everything was some work of the devil, as the Simpsons Movie was not the case. That fuckin' movie was so fuckin' hilarious. And just as I did with Harry Potter 5, I got to see it with the lovely Rosalia Pinuellas. The only embarrasing part was that I forgot where I was sitting when I came back from a call from Nestor. I admit that there was some stumbling. Point is... GO SEE THE SIMPSONS!!!

Then there was the bowling outing with Nestor, Alex Hoang, Darren, and Danny at City Walk. Fuckin' Danny called himself "Winner" and ended up winning. That was great. I came in second. But the coolest thing was Nestor hitting a strike while talking on his cell phone. That was sweeet!!!

Heidi's birthday was fun!!! It was the first time EVER that the whole smarties gang got together (Luis, Jonathan, Daniel, Sifredo, Brenda, Alfred, Elias, Heidi, and myself). Honorary members Bessie and Wendy aka Moosey also joined in the fun. And this all took place at... Chuck E. Cheese's. After a few hours of games and pizza, the remainder of those that decided to stick around tagged along with me back to my house to play some Super Smash Bros. Melee. It was a good day.

My mom has also returned from El Salvador!!! Now I shall not starve. She also brought along my grandpa, which it's always nice to see him. With her here, I have been able to finish several tasks, like my loan papers and other things. It's great that she's back. Now it's back to fighting for the right to party!!! (shout out to the Beastie Boys)

And that sort of sums up my summer from the previous entry. Just thought I'd share some. Until next time... peace bitches!
