It has been a rough couple of days, as I have been swamped with a lot of work to do. I still am, but now I have taken care of the the dreaded list I made for myself. It was called "Nando's List Beford He Dies!!!" They consisted of a few things, which I'll describe each briefly...
1.) AP Testing: For the past three weeks, I have been AP testing. Those tests are quite tiresome, so I was glad I only signed up for four. It was only supposed to be two weeks, but my Calculus AB test was pushed back from two weeks ago to today. Man, that free-response was a bitch!!!
2.) CMAA Scholarship: I was called back for an interview to when a $1,000 scholarship. All i did was answer a few questions and take a pic. At first, I was completely nervous, but once the day came I threw it to the backburner and rolled with it. I took it as a chance to improve my interview skills and as a learning experience. I do hope I get it, though.
3.) Capital Markets Contest: Now this was one of the bigger pains. I teamed up with my friends Jennifer, Peter, and Andy to produce an essay and a powerpoint in which we showcased what the Federal Reserve will do depending on the trends going on today in the economy. We worked very hard and had fun with it, after some time of procrastination. Unfortunately we didn't win. I had a blast, though! After it was all said and done, I have greater respect for the my teammates, whom I can proudly call my friends.
Now that the evil competitions and tests are over with, I can now focus on my schoolwork and my college preparation. There's only a few weeks left of school. It's hard to believe the day I've dreamt of is now upon me. That is why I'm gonna be writing a three-part short story called "Stories for Summer Time." It will be a way for me to express the ideas I've come to realize, based on my actions and experiences. Be on the look out for it.
Well, that's all for this week. I'm now gonna relax a bit, as I've been to Hell and back!

AP (Absolute Pain)
Before I get into this week's topic, I'd like to mention a few things.
First off, it sucks ass that me and Ryan will have to share a room with Steven Xiao for the upcoming Magnet Mammoth Trip. Simply put, the guy really gets under my skin. He's also no sweet peach for Ryan, as they've also had their share of problems. I'm just scared that us three combustable elements well explode in that hotel room. Second, I still think that the polar bear Knut is still cute. Third, my Analytical Writing Exam is this Saturday. Lame. Fear not, though, as I am up for the task.
Now for this week's topic: the Advanced Placement Exams. For the whole year, I've been studying Economics, English Literature, and Calculus AB to pass these tests. The tests dates are now upon me and my fellow students, the pain can start to recede... or can it? Apparently, the Calculus AB tests never made it to the school, so now both AB classes, as well as some BC students, need to wait two weeks for the test. That's bullshit!!! I wanted to get it over with. I'm sure some feel the same way, while others are relieved to have some extra time. Whatever. Anyway, I've already completed the English Lit test, which was very challenging, but not impossible. I still have my Econ tests next Thursday and the Cal test in two weeks. I don't know how Jennifer can do six tests in the span of two weeks (Government, Cal BC, English Lit, Physics, Macro- AND Micro- Econ). She's just that awesome, although she's probably just like everyone else who can't wait for this absolute pain to be over with. I know I'll be.
Well, that's it for this week. I wish anyone takin' AP tests good luck. It's May, so we're almost there!!! Then we're done with high school. That's the one good thing about AP's: they're a sign that the school year is almost over. Whooooo!!!

Red Carpet Awesomeness
Prom was fuckin' awesome!!!
I met my group by the Yuca Church, as we were getting a ride from Dennis and Trihn. Jennifer looked beautiful in her dress, as I expected no less. Nancy Loung and Mihn also looked great (made me feel cool rollin' with good-lookin' girls). Jonathan Zhu looked pretty cool too. At the event itself, we took lots of pictures. Sucks that I didn't have a camera; I'll probably have to ask for pictures from one of the girls. I saw my a lot of my friends, all lookin' pimp. Jonathan Cruz, in particular, looked awesome; he was like John Travolta in Pulp Fiction.
We all eventually made our way to our table and waited forever for our chicken dinner, which wasn't that great (save for the mashed potatoes). Then came the dancing. And yes, I DID dance. It took forever to get Jen and the other girls to dance, but they eventually found their way to the dance floor. Mihn and Jonathan Cruz really got into it! There were also many others goin' fuckin' crazy on that dance floor, particularly Ryan (no surprise).
Around 12:00 or so, my group left to go bowlin'. we went to this one place downtown. When we got there, I realized I was familiar with the area (it was near a Sizzler's I've been to). And I must say that Jennifer kicks so much ass in bowling!!! Of the five of us, I came in 4th, (poor Minh, she's so sweet). And after that it was time to call it a night. Got home around 3:00am.
Now in May, I now realize my run at Lincoln High School is almost up. But yesterday, it was a day where I can forget about that notion and have fun. And I did have fun. I had a hot date, I danced, and I bowled!!! But now life must go on. The AP tests start next week, the Capital Markets Competiton is in a few weeks. Then comes graduation. But yesterday was an evening where me and my friends were able to put whatever worries aside and go crazy.
